Character

An enchanting ruby-red wine with powerful aromas of cherry, sour cherry and berries, along with a touch of fig. On the palate it is fruity and aromatic with a slight initial sweetness and additional hints of coffee and liquorice. Its distinct tannins, wonderful freshness and soft, harmonious body are crowned by an enduring finish.

Region

Graubünden

Grisons is the third largest wine-growing region in Switzerland in terms of surface area and provides particularly good conditions for the vines. The mild climate and the subsoil make Grisons wines some of the most renowned in Switzerland. Calcareous slate soils bring out the best qualities of the Pinot Noir grape, while the foehn valleys where the vines are grown benefit from higher temperatures and considerably more hours of sunshine than many other regions. This combination produces soft, fruity and full-bodied, intensely concentrated red wines as well as mineral, aromatic white wines.

Producer/Brand
