Character

Well balanced and wonderfully fruity – a fresh and very lively sparkling wine, the colour of fresh raspberries. Intense aromas of raspberry, redcurrant, peach and grapefruit seduce both nose and palate. The fruit are supported by a mellow, round and highly harmonious body.

Veneto

Venetien, in der Landesprache Veneto, ist mit seiner Touristenhochburg Venedig eine der beliebtesten Weinregionen Italiens – und eine der drei grössten des Landes. Geografisch ist Venetien ausserst vielseitig: Einerseits ist ein Drittel von Gebirgszügen bedeckt, andererseits verfügt die Region in der zentralen Ebene über ausgedehnte Reisfelder und über einen grossen Küstenstreifen. Dementsprechend variantenreich präsentieren sich die venetischen Weine. Ein steiniger und kalkhaltiger Boden, der mit roter und brauner Erde bedeckt ist, bietet den Reben gute Wachstumsbedingungen, die Alpen, deren Ausläufer das weitläufige Gebiet im Norden begrenzen, schützen das Gebiet vor dem raueren nordeuropäischen Wetter und sorgen für ein ausgewogenes Klima. In den wärmeren Ebenen an der adriatischen Küste baut man vorwiegend rote Rebsorten an; aus den kühleren Zonen kommen hervorragende Weissweine, deren zweifellos bekanntester der Prosecco ist.
