In the glass, this fresh and fruity white wine has a distinct yellow gleam. On the nose are aromas of pear, apple, raspberry and citrus fruit. On the palate it is lively and pleasing, wonderfully soft, lean and harmonious.

Region

Genf

The canton of Geneva is Switzerland’s third-largest and simultaneously westernmost winegrowing region. Among the warmest areas of the country, the terrain is rather flat and forms a combination of alluvial and rocky land. The harmonising influence of Lake Geneva has a cooling effect in summer and eases the frost in winter. Geneva has three winegrowing regions: Entre Arve et Lac in the East, Entre Arve et Rhône in the South, and the largest and most important region, the Mandement, in the West. The latter includes the municipalities of Collex-Bossy, Céligny, Peissy and Satigny, Switzerland’s largest winegrowing municipality. Here viticultural conditions benefit from the waters of the Rhône glacier flowing through the city into the Rhône.
